Project Description :

Mechanical services upgrade alongside a refurbishment of the existing A block of Bentley Hospital.
Project included all building and demolition works.



Here are some of the mechanical services involved in this particular project:

• New operating theatre air handling units.
• HEPA Filtration systems to theatres and sterile environments.
• Installation of clean and dirty exhaust systems.
• Upgrade and extension of a DDC building management system.
• Dust prevention during construction.

This was a sensitive working environment, as the hospital remained in operation while we worked, to avoid inconvenience to the public. Our team was required to work within an environment where infection control was strictly enforced.



Acceleration of work was achieved by staging and sequencing work in line with equipment delivery. Redesign work was carried out to accommodate existing services and achieve project milestones.
